Signpost Restoration Limited
Established in 2002 Signpost Restoration has become the lead organisation in the restoration of historic roadside features and has completed projects throughout England, Scotland and Wales.
Although the majority of our projects to date have involved cast-iron we also have experience in aluminium and timber restoration.
We are experienced in the restoration of fingerposts, lamp standards, milestones, mileposts and plaques. From pattern making and the casting of new components to replace long lost items such as fingers, finials, etc, through to the manufacture of a completely new "historic" fingerpost or milepost we have the expertise and experience to help you complete your restoration project.
Our projects to date have involved work on many of the UK's fingerpost styles and as a result we have the patterns available to create the mould and the castings necessary to replicate exactly the original component.
If you are considering a restoration project and require information to help in planning the project our guideline & specification document may prove a useful starting point.
